Tuesday saw the annual Murray and Lamont music competitions which, this year, took place in the hall and featured the recently acquired grand piano. This year our judges were Mrs Pauline Black and Mr Allan Bicket.   Eight girls took part in the Murray competition, which is for girls of Grade 4-5 standard. The girls acquitted themselves very well and the judges were impressed with the variety and quality of the performances.  

The Lamont competition, which is for girls of Grade 6 and above, saw nine girls take part this year.  The standard was very high and choosing a winner proved to be a challenge for the judges.
