Treasure your chest

We were delighted to welcome Kelly M. Anderson, Senior Development Officer at the University of Aberdeen, to school today to take part in our "Treasure your chest" assembly. Assembly opened with senior pupil, Yoma, who dispelled some of the myths around breast health and explained how important it is to wear a sports bra. Kelly then talked about breast cancer research at the University of Aberdeen and the amazing work that is supported by donations. During games and PE lessons this week, pupils will undertake a movement challenge with the goal to collect 1,000 km as a school community. They also hope to raise £500 to support breast cancer research at the University.
